Bond Payment
A refundable bond of $500 per family is required when a child commences at school. The purpose of the bond is to assist with costs and general cash flow. The $500 is refunded when the last child in the family leaves the primary school (year 8), and is not normally refundable within two years of payment. Special circumstances for a refund will be considered on application in writing to the Wa Ora Montessori School Board of Trustees or Council.

Billing Procedures
Accounts are sent out within one week of the start of each term.Unless you have made arrangements with the office to make regular installments, accounts are in advance on receipt of the invoice.

Late Fees
Unless arrangements for payment by instalments has been made by the office, if fees are not paid 14 days after the due-by-date, a 10 per cent penalty will be imposed. The penalty is imposed to encourage a better cash flow for the school, which relies so heavily on fees for running costs. The due by date is two weeks after the term begins and is indicated on the invoice.

Working Bees
A working bee roster is prepared each year and updated each term to assist with school maintenance. All families are placed on a roster or can opt to pay a levy of $100 in lieu. As the school grows most families are usually asked to work only one working bee each year.
