Montessori for Three to Six Year Olds

At Wa Ora Montessori School we have three classrooms for children from three to six years old.

Our Montessori classrooms will support your child’s curiosity, encourage your child to explore and learn with respectful guidance from our qualified Montessori teachers.

Our Montessori learning environments have an inviting array of specially designed Montessori materials to engage your child to make discoveries and develop concentration, motivation, self-discipline, and a love of learning.  Our Montessori classrooms are attractive spaces with a flow into an outdoor classroom environment.

Our Montessori community is made up of children of a mix of ages from three to six years old. The children learn from each other and because of each other. Your child will learn to cooperate with children of different ages, to respect and celebrate the efforts of other children and to take care of themselves, others and their environment.

Our classrooms are thriving communities where all children are treated with respect and dignity and where they learn to treat others with respect and dignity.

Our classrooms for three to six year olds are called Pohutukawa, Rewarewa and Nikau.
